Synopsis: As an intellectual historian, Professor Kyriakos N. Demetriou (DPhil University College London) specializes in the history of classical reception, with emphasis on eighteenth and nineteenth-century Platonic tradition and the history of Greek historiography. His teaching is mainly focused on the history of political thought (ancient and modern), political ideologies and the interpretative approaches in political theory. He has published extensively philosophical literature (novels and shorti stories).
