He hοlds a bachelor's degree in Economics (2003), a master's degree in Economic Analysis (2005) and a PhD in Economics (2011) from University of Cyprus. He worked as a research associate at the University of Cyprus (2004-2006), as a special research scientist at the Department of Environmental Management of Cyprus University of Technology (2009-2010) and as a special teaching scientist at the University of Cyprus (Spring 2011).
