He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University.
He was a Post-Doctoral scholar at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies at UCSD and a Research Affiliate at IZA. He is currently a Professor at CIDE, Mexico and a Visiting Assistant Professor at UCY.
