Dr. George Zaggoulos received his first degree in Electronics Engineering with educational major from ASETEM/SELETE in Athens. In 2003 he completed a second bachelor’s degree (First Class) in Electrical Engineering at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA. Dr. Zaggoulos continued his studies at the University of Bristol, UK, from where he initially received his MSc in Communications Systems with distinction. In 2005 he enrolled as a research student at the Centre for Communications Research, University of Bristol, and in 2009 he was awarded with a PhD. During his PhD studies, he presented much of his research outcome at international conferences and had the opportunity to work on various research projects and applications of mobile communications with the industry (including companies such as QinetiQ, BT, Inmarsat, Mitsubishi και η 3C Research). Since 2009 he is a member of the special teaching staff at the ECE department of the University of Cyprus. He is responsible for organising and teaching of the following laboratory courses: Circuits and Measurements (ECE203), Digital Systems (ECE211), Computer Organization and Microprocessors (ECE213), Telecommunications (ECE358) and part of the Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab (ECE306).
