Welcome to the revamped web pages of the Department of English Studies.

The Department is now offering a new three-track undergraduate program for a BA in English Studies, which allows students to specialize in Anglophone Literature and Cultural Studies, Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, or Translation Studies.

We also offer several postgraduate degree programs (MA in TEFL, MA in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, and MA in English Literature and Comparative Cultural Studies at the moment) and accept doctoral students for a PhD (in Literature, Linguistics, or Translation) by research.

On these pages, you will also find information about the research activities which our faculty members are engaged in as well as individual academic profiles and, over time, more updates to the various degree options offered. The Department also has other resources, such as research laboratories and research groups, which manage the research programmes faculty members have attracted.

If you are a prospective student, we're looking forward to hearing from you and will assist in any questions you may have.
