Emphasis in these Championships is given not only in winning but also in participating. They are means of an active break that aim in improving people’s physical condition, learning and improving personal technique, by also providing fun and entertainment.

International regulations apply in all championships; these are completed with special regulations which are stricter in discipline matters, since our philosophy is that Sports at the University of Cyprus should be characterized from the Olympic spirit.

Games are being officiated by official referees from the respective sports associations. Sports Center retains full supervision and control of all procedures regarding organizing the championships.

Sports Center expects all athletes to compete in all earnest, within the framework of the University’s philosophy as well as displaying sportsmanship, contributing thus in the growth of sports at the University of Cyprus.
