SPORTS CENTRE OPERATIONAL REGULATIONS
- Sports facilities may be used by the University of Cyprus’ students, the Academic and Administrative personnel as well as other sportsmen with the showing of an identity card stating their capacity.
- A sports card will be issued for members of the University community. The card’s cost and privileges of its owner are presented on the table attached.
- A written permit from the Athletic Center is required to use the sports facilities.
- For a reservation to be valid, the charge fee has to be paid, at least 2 days in advance.
- Open hours of the outdoor sports facilities are daily, from 10:00 to 22:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 till 20:00.
- Open hours of the indoor sport facilities are daily from 07:30 to 22:00 and on Saturdays from 07:30 till 16:00.
- A special written permit from the Athletic Center is required to use the sports facilities in other days and times.
- Use of facilities from the University Community is free of charge, Monday to Friday from 10:00 – 15:00.
- Special fees apply for students and academic-administrative personnel. Special fees under student / academic / administrative status are granted only when 50% of the people using the facilities fall in one of these categories. In contrary case, fees for the public will apply.
- Fees for use of the sports facilities by Cyprus’ national teams will be the same to student fees.
- The operational agenda of the University of Cyprus’ sports facilities may be modified due to championship events or other sport activities.
- Sportsmen:
a) are required to be dressed in sports attire and wear dirt-free sports shoes.
b) are required to keep the area clean and behave responsibly.
c) are considered responsible for their personal belongings.
- Smoking and carrying food/drink are prohibited within the sports facilities.
- To book a sport facility, interested parties should apply at the Athletic Center, phone number 22894182, at least two (2) days prior their preferred booking date and for seven (7) days period time.
- Bookings will be cancelled where fees are not paid at least two (2) days before the actual booking date.
