Προφίλ

Christoforos N. Hadjicostis received S.B. degrees in Electrical Engineering, in Computer Science and Engineering, and in Mathematics, the M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1999, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA.

In 1999 he joined the Faculty at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he reached the rank of Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Coordinated Science Laboratory, and the Information Trust Institute. Since 2007, Dr. Hadjicostis is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus where he is currently serving as the Department Chair. His current research focuses on fault diagnosis and tolerance in distributed dynamic systems; error control coding; monitoring, diagnosis and control of large-scale discrete event systems; and applications to network security, anomaly detection, energy distribution systems, medical diagnosis, biosequencing, and genetic regulatory models.
