The International Life Long Learning Programmes Office
The International Life Long Learning Prgrammes Office is responsible for the coordination of the International Cooperation and International Relations of the University of Cyprus as well for informing the academic community on European programmes. It deals with Bilateral Agreements of Cooperation with Universities and organizations in Cyprus, Europe and the rest of the world and with exchange programmes under the Life Long Learning programme such as Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig, Marie Curie, and ERASMUS MUNDUS, inter Mediterranean programmes of cooperation such as MEDA, Euromed, the TEMPUS programme and has the responsibility of disseminating information about Summer Schools to the student community.
It has the administrative support of the International Relations Committee, the handling of the budget 3/312 - European programmes, 3/319 - Bilateral Agreements of Cooperation and 3/314 - Subscriptions, Contributions and representation to other Universities and organizations. It deals with partnerships with networks such as UNICA, CMU and LEONET and organizations such as ACU, EUA, UNESCO and the European Union.
It deals with interstate cultural cooperation, interuniversity programmes (joint degrees) and is the contact point for the European Office Cyprus in Brussels and the European Office of Cyprus in Cyprus.
