On behalf of the Language Centre of the University of Cyprus, we welcome you to your port of call for foreign language learning. The Centre’s undergraduate language offerings are intended not just to meet graduation requirements, but to provide students with the practical language skills they need to succeed in their studies, prepare for graduate programs, and live and work within the broader European Community. In addition to its undergraduate language teaching mission, the Centre is also able to offer advanced level academic writing courses to meet the needs of students undertaking graduate work in programs where English is the language of instruction.

Beyond the University community, our services extend to Adult Education programs that provide language instruction tailored to the specific needs of governmental agencies, public service bodies and private businesses. So, too, the Centre offers language maintenance courses to practicing language teachers and provides as well ongoing professional training in foreign language pedagogy and instructional technology.
