The University of Cyprus aspires through the procedure of Architectural Design Competitions, to develop an exemplary and stimulating educational setting where new learning and research environments will be employed.

 

Up to date seven Design Competitions have been announced and completed by the University. At the outset, an international competition for the design of the new Athalassa Campus Master Plan was announced and six competitions regarding individual projects on Campus followed.

 

Recently an eighth one has been promoted. On July 29th 2011, the first stage of a new international Design Competition for the Department of Biological Sciences and Common Teaching Facilities 03 has been procured through the e-Procurement System of the Republic of Cyprus (web-based application for conducting public procurement competitions).

The deadline for the submission of Requests of Participate, is the 27th of September 2011, 12:00 local time.
