Competition Procedure No.: CDO 087/10 - Stage A
The University of Cyprus as the Contracting Authority announces through the Campus Development Office, an international Architectural Competition, for the design and construction of the ‘Department of Biological Sciences and Common Teaching Facilities 03’ within the University of Cyprus Campus at Athalassa, in Nicosia.
The Competition is a two stages competition procedure, through which the University of Cyprus aims to arrive to the best possible solution for the project in architectural, planning, technological, environmental and economic terms, and to appoint the qualified Architect and Consultants for the implementation of the winning solution of the Department of Biological Sciences and Common Teaching Facilities 03 project.
On July 29th 2011, the first stage of the Competition has been procured through the e-Procurement System of the Republic of Cyprus (web-based application for conducting public procurement competitions).

Faculty of Engineering Building Facilities - Two Stages Architectural Competition
Competition Procedure No.: CDO 078/09
The Architectural Competition was concluded in November 2010.
The signing of the Contract for the Provision of Services by Consultants for the Faculty of Engineering project took place on May 18th 2011, between Professor Constantinos Christofides Rector on behalf of the University of Cyprus and Chrysanthos Chrysanthou on behelf of the winning team; Chrysanthos Chrysanthou-Anastassios Cotsiopoulos-Eracles Papachristou.
The project is at the Preliminary Design development stage.
