Α. REGULAR PROGRAMMES
1 INTENSIVE COURSES
1.1 INTENSIVE ONE SEMESTER COURSE
The intensive One-Semester Course is addressed primarily to individuals living in Cyprus either on a temporary or permanent basis.
Duration of the Course
The Intensive One-Semester course lasts 13 weeks and is offered twice a year, from September to December and from January to April/May, at all levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced, higher / A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). Classes are 3 teaching units long and are held 4 days per week from 18.00 to 21.00, for a total of 156 teaching units.
1.2 INTENSIVE SUMMER COURSE
The Intensive Summer Course is addressed to:
Students from the European Union who wish to learn Greek within the context of the Socrates exchange program. It is not required that these students be enrolled in the University of Cyprus.Individuals who live in Cyprus, either on a temporary or permanent basis, and who wish to learn Greek for personal or professional reasons.People from abroad who wish to learn or perfect their knowledge of Greek
Duration of the Course
The course lasts four weeks. Classes are held Monday through Friday, five teaching units per day and amount to a total of 100 teaching units.
The Summer Course is offered at beginner and intermediate levels. Each class has a maximum enrollment of 15 students.
2. NON INTENSIVE COURSES
There are two non-intensive course programs:
1. Two-Semester Course, which lasts 26 weeks (September-May). There are classes for beginner, intermediate, advanced and higher level students.
2. Special Interest Course, which lasts one month and is offered at the beginning of each term, in September and January. It is addressed exclusively to European exchange- program students.
2.1 TWO-SEMESTER NON INTENSIVE COURSE
The Two-Semester non intensive Course lasts 26 weeks, from September to May. Classes are 3 teaching units long and take place twice a week, 18.00-21.00, for a total of 156 teaching units.
Classes are offered at all levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). The maximum enrollment in each group are 15 students.
2.2. ERASMUS COURSE
The Erasmus Course is addressed exclusively to European exchange program students who are studying or intend to study at any university in Cyprus. The students are entitled to follow one semester non intensive course . The course runs parallel to the main curriculum at the University of Cyprus.

Free of Charge for Erasmus at the University of Cyprus
200 € for Erasmus from other host institutions
* Any erasmus student can also enroll in one of the other programmes offered at the School of Modern Greek. If the host institution is the University of Cyprus then the courses are free of charge, otherwise the fees are the same as any other student. The programme chosen must be a duration equal to their stay at the University of Cyprus.
