I have worked at the College Board (2003-2005), and at the European University Cyprus (2006-2013). I have also taught as an adjunct instructor at New York University (2004) and at the Open University of Cyprus (2007-2012).

Recent activities: 
During my 2024 spring sabbatical, I plan to present research findings during my visits to James Madison University and the University of Virginia (April 2024). Presentations are also scheduled at NCME in Philadelphia, PAN-Metric seminar in Washaw, and ITC in Granada.
 
Participation at a discussion session at the Cyprus Education Summit 2023 for student assessment, December 2023.. 
 
Presentation of the funded teaching innovation for an "Electronic database of activities for methodology and applied statistics for continuous assessment and feedbach", May 2023, KEDIMA.
 
A podcast discussion in "Science of doing Science" with Adrien Fillon (Sinnopsis) on psychometrics and the replication crisis in Psychology (Febr. 2023) here and here.
 
In June-July 2022 I was at a visiting professor post at the Sapienza University of Rome.
 
In July 2021 the 42nd annual conference of the International School Psychology Association ISPA2021 took place in Nicosia. I was a member of the Local Organizing Committee and Chair of  Scientific Matters.
 
In October 2021, my article "Negative keying effects in the factor structure of TIMSS 2011 motivation scales and associations with reading achievement" received the Richard M. Wolf Memorial Award for outstanding paper by the ΙΕΑ. [announcement in Greek]
