Victor Roudometof (PhD Pittsburgh, 1996, Sociology and Cultural Studies) has studied history, economics, cultural studies, and sociology. He has held appointments at Princeton University, Washington and Lee University, Miami University and the American College of Thessaloniki. His publication record includes over 20 articles, 35 book chapters, as well as two monographs & several special issues of journals & edited volumes. He is Cyprus Program Director for the European Values Study and served as Principal Investigator for the survey’s 2008 Cyprus wave. He has also served as referee and/or reviewer for major international publishers and scholarly journals state agencies. He has served as external evaluator for stage agencies and research foundations in the Netherlands, Greece, Georgia, the USA & the Gulf states. Currently, he is Faculty Fellow with the Center for Cultural Sociology at Yale University & also serves in the boards of the European Journal of Social Theory, Nations and Nationalism and the on line journals Religions, the International Journal of Bio-Sciences and Technology and the de Gruyter-Versita book series on Theology, Judaism and Religious Studies.
