UCY research awarded at International Conferences for AI-related work

The University of Cyprus proudly celebrates three international distinctions for its AI-related research.

• KR-2025: Ray Reiter Best Paper Award to Dr. Andreas Pieri for the paper “Finite Axiomatizability by Disjunctive Existential Rules,” co-authored with Marco Calautti and Marco Console.
• ICKG-2025: Best Paper Award to Dr. Demetris Paschalides, Prof. George Pallis, and Prof. Marios D. Dikaiakos for the paper “PRISM: A Framework for Multi-Level Modeling and Analysis of Polarization Knowledge.”
• UCC-2025: Best Paper Award to Dr. D. Trihinas, Dr. M. Symeonides, Dr. N. Cleju, Prof. George Pallis, and Prof. Marios D. Dikaiakos for the paper “FakeInf: Selective Deep Neural Network Inference for Latency and Energy-Aware Model Serving Pipelines.”
