This course presents a global overview of Computational Intelligence systems, concentrating in Genetic Algorithms and Fuzzy Logic, and their applications in solving "real" problems in various disciplines such as support of decision making, classification, prognosis and prediction, system optimization and recreational design. Moreover, it introduces Computational Neuroscience as well as topics in Cognitive Science.
