Donations

The University of Cyprus, in addition to monetary donations, also accepts:
• donations of artwork
• donations of books and collections to the “Stelios Ioannou” Learning Resource Center
• donations of machinery and equipment

Scholarships

Make your donation through the institutionalization of a scholarship/scholarships offered to our postgraduate and graduate students.

Legacies

You can donate to the University inheritances, trusts, bequests or assets, for the fulfilment of certain purposes.

Awards

Legislation

Pursuant to the Law on Income Tax of 2002 Law 118 (I) / 2002, companies and persons who make donations or contributions for educational or other charitable purposes to the University of Cyprus, which is recognized as a Charitable Foundation, may claim the deduction of the relevant amount when calculating their taxable income.

For the purposes of claiming tax exemptions, the data of the University of Cyprus that may be used / requested are:

  1.  Registered Name of the Organization: University of Cyprus
  2.  Established: Law 144/89 (dated 28/07/1989)
  3.  Type of Organization: Legal Entity under Public Law
  4.  Tax ID number: 19118934X
