I am a PostDoctoral researcher in the Physics Department at the University of Cyprus, in the research group of Prof. Spiros S. Skourtis. I am a young researcher that was awarded the KIND Quantum-Bio PostDoctoral Fellow Program of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience in TU Delft in 2022 and worked in the QN Department in the research group of Prof. Yaroslav Blanter for 2 years. Previously, I received my MSc and PhD from the University of Cyprus in 2015 and 2021, respectively under the guidance of Prof. Spiros S. Skourtis, in the Department of Physics. I specialize in molecular and biomolecular charge transport and molecular electronics either theories or modeling, as well as in multi-excitonic molecular physics theories. One of the main goals of my research is to develop a physical understanding of how to control ET through small molecules or bacterial species by creating various phenomenological models that describe specific transport mechanisms. Part of my research activity is in close collaboration with experimental groups, trying to interpret or propose experiments. Another part of my research activity involves exciton transport and singlet fission mechanisms in molecules. This presupposes the inclusion of extensive analytical work, code writing and ab-initio quantum chemistry computations.
