style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Twinning project <em style=\"font-weight: inherit\">Brain Research and Integrative Neuroscience Network for COVID-19 (BRAINN)<\/em> aims to advance the research and innovation capacity of the University of Cyprus for understanding, assessing and treating the effects of Long COVID syndrome on cognitive and mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff\"> empty line <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The objectives of the project are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><strong><span style=\"color: #9b1522\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Scientific Excellence:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Enhance the research and innovation capacity in the fields of applied neuroscience and neurorehabilitation at the University of Cyprus.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><strong><span style=\"color: #9b1522\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaboration:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Form a network for effective collaboration between the University of Cyprus and three advanced partners in brain research: Maastricht University, Ghent University and King\u2019s College London.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><strong><span style=\"color: #9b1522\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Expertise:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Combine the interdisciplinary expertise of the partner&#8217;s research groups, which are internationally leading in the fields of neuroimaging, non-invasive neurostimulation, and digitalised assessment, and provide training to the scientific community and health professionals in Cyprus.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><strong><span style=\"color: #9b1522\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Research and Innovation:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop state-of-the-art methodologies for understanding the effects of Long COVID syndrome on brain health and alleviating the neuropsychological symptoms.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff\"> empty line <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The objectives will be achieved through <strong><em><span style=\"color: #333333\">networking activities and coordination actions<\/em><\/strong>, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">webinars,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">workshops,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">summer school,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">staff exchanges,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">expert visits,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">conferences, and<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">student co-supervision,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">as well as through the <strong><em><span style=\"color: #333333\">research programme<\/em><\/strong>, which includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">focus groups,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">an epidemiological study, and<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span
