July 31, 2024We have one post-doctoral researcher position available in the field of digital twins for offshore floating wind turbines, green hydrogen production systems, and shipping decarbonization. The selected candidate will join the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering as well as the international research team of the TETHYS: Twinning for Excellence in Floating Wind Turbine and Hydrogen Systems project. They will benefit from specialized and state-of-the-art training, from the opportunity for academic and industry placements, and collaborations with the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence (Italy), the School of Business and Social Sciences at Aarhus University (Denmark), and the innovative Greek start-up NEEST (Athens), which specializes in green hydrogen production research. The pioneering TETHYS project is supported by the European Commission. In brief:
Funding and duration: 28 000 € to 36 000 € (gross salary) annually, depending on previous experience and qualifications. 24 months full time with the possibility to extend (subject to funding availability).
