Η Άντρη Μιχαηλίδου είναι επισκέπτρια λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Δημόσιας Διοίκησης όπου διδάσκει διοίκηση, οργανωσιακή συμπεριφορά, διοίκηση ανθρωπίνου δυναμικού και διαπολιτισμική διοίκηση. Επίσης είναι Visiting Fellow του Gender, Leadership and Inclusion Centre (GLIC) της Μεταπτυχιακής Σχολής  Διοίκησης του Πανεπιστημίου του Cranfield στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Από το 2018 έχει αναλάβει το ρόλο της προέδρου του Gender in Management Track του British Academy of Management. To 2020  έχει αναλάβει το ρόλο του Guest Editor Ειδικής Εκδοσης του Gender in Management: an International Journal με τίτλο "Covid-19: Current Research Debates".
 
Επίσης έχει περισσότερο από 20 χρόνια πείρα στη διοίκηση ανθρωπίνου δυναμικού σε χώρες του εξωτερικού όπως το Dubai και η Ολλανδία. Πιο πρόσφατοι ρόλοι περιλαμβάνουν Διευθύντρια Ανθρωπίνου Δυναμικού στο International School of Amsterdam και Περιφερειακή Διευθύντρια Ανθρωπίνου Δυναμικού στην PepsiCo στο Ντουμπάι, στην Ελλάδα και την Ολλανδία.  Παλαιότερη εργασιακή πείρα με την Merrill Lynch, την Ευρωπαική Επιτροπή στις Βρυξέλλες, την Daimler-Chrysler στην Στουτγάρδη και την KPMG στην Κύπρο.

Θέματα ανισότητας φύλου σε διευθυντικές θέσεις των οργανισμών, φύλου και καριέρας και του ρόλου των ευέλικτων πρακτικών απασχόλησης στην επαγγελματική ανέλιξη των γυναικών στη διευθυντική ιεραρχία. Πιο πρόσφατα η έρευνα της επικεντρώνεται στο ρόλο της κοινωνίας, των οργανισμών και της οικογένειας και τη συμβολή τους στην διαμόρφωση ευέλικτης και βιώσιμης καριέρας.

Dr. Andrie Michaelides is a visiting lecturer at the Department of Business & Public Administration of the University of Cyprus, where she teaches principles of management, organizational behavior, cross-cultural management and HRM.  She was educated at Cranfield University in the UK (PhD in Management and Leadership) and Indiana University in Bloomington, USA (BSc., MBA).  

Dr. Michaelides is a Visiting Fellow of the Centre for Gender, Leadership, and Inclusion (GLIC) of Cranfield University’s School of Management.  She has also been appointed Chair of the Gender in Management Track of the British Academy of Management since 2018. She currently serves as Guest Editor of a Special Issue of Gender in Management: an International Journal on Covid-19: Current Research Debates.

With extensive practitioner experience as Human Resources Director of a multinational organization for many years in Europe and the Middle East, she combines research with knowledge acquired from practice in order to contribute to pervasive issues within the field HRM.

Her research interests include gender inequality in management positions, women in leadership, gender and career success, flexible working programs and their role in leveraging women's career advancement and sustainability. She currently researches the determinants of flexible and sustainable careers through synergies between society, organization and family and has presented her work in various international conferences in Europe and the US.
