Προπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Πανεπιστήμιο Οξφόρδης (M.Phil in Classical Archaeology), Διδακτορικές σπουδές στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Οξφόρδης (Merton College), (D.Phil in Classical Archaeology) διατριβή με τίτλο "Pyla-Kokkinokremos, Maa-Palaeokastro and the settlement histories of Cyprus in the twelfth centuries BC". Εργάστηκε ως μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια Marie Sklodowska Curie (Career Integration Grants) για το πρόγραμμα ARIEL (2013-2017), που μελετά τους μετασχηματισμούς στην τοπογραφία των οικισμών και του υλικού πολιτισμού κατά την Εποχή του Χαλκού στην περιοχή της Πάφου. Από το 2018 εργάζεται ως μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια (Εσωτερικά προγράμματα) στην Ερευνητική Μονάδα Αρχαιολογίας, Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας Έχει λάβει μέρος σε αριθμό ανασκαφικών προγραμμάτων σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο (Παλαίπαφος, Πύλα-Κοκκινόκρεμος, Καλαβασός-Άγιος Δημήτριος, Λευκαντί-Ξερόπολις, Μυκήνες [Ανατολική Οικία]). | |
Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα συμπεριλαμβάνουν: η κεραμεική παραγωγή της Κύπρου και του Αιγαίου κατά την Ύστερη Εποχή του Χαλκού και την Πρώιμη Εποχή του Σιδήρου, η κοινωνική, πολιτική και οικονομική δομή των Κυπριακών πολιτειών κατά την Ύστερη Εποχή του Χαλκού, το ανταλλακτικό εμπόριο στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο κατά τη δεύτερη χιλιετία π.Χ.

Profile Information
Undergraduate studies at the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Cyprus (2001-2005). Postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford (M.Phil. in Classical Archaeology). Thesis entitled "Pyla-Kokkinokremos, Maa-Palaeokastro and the settlement histories of Cyprus in the twelfth century BC". Marie-Sklodowska Curie Fellow (2013-2017) for the EU-funded research programme ARIEL (Archaeological Investigations of the Extra-Urban and Urban Landscapes in the eastern Mediterranean: a case-study at Palaepaphos) a Career Integration Grant (FP7-Individual Fellowship). Her research interests include: the pottery production of Cyprus and the Aegean during the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age (regional styles, transformations of the pottery production during the 13th and 12th century BC), the eastern Mediterranean during the "Crisis Years" of the 12th century BC, the social, economic and political organisation of the Cypriot polities, interregional trading patterns of the eastern Mediterranean during the transition from the 2nd to the 1st millennium BC
