Η Δρ. Χαρούλα Αγγελή-Βαλανίδη είναι Καθηγήτρια Εκπαιδευτικής Τεχνολογίας. Έχει πτυχίο (BS) και μεταπτυχιακό (MS) στην Πληροφορική από το Indiana University-Bloomington στην Αμερική και διδακτορικό (Ph.D.) στην Εκπαιδευτική Τεχνολογία από το ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο. Εργάστηκε απίσης ως μεταδιδακτορική συνεργάτιδα στο Pittsburgh University. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν την τεχνολογική παιδαγωγική γνώση περιεχομένου, τα ενιαία γνωστικά συστήματα, το σχεδιασμό αναλυτικών προγραμμάτων ενισχυμένων με την τεχνολογία, την εκπαίδευση εκπαιδευτικών και ενηλίκων και τη διδασκαλία της κριτικής και υπολογιστικής σκέψης.
