Theodora A. Maniou is a lecturer in Journalism, Department of Social & Political Sciences, University of Cyprus. She holds a PhD & a BA in Journalism (School of Journalism & Mass Media, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), and an MA in Communication’s Policy Studies (CITY, University of London, UK). Prior to her academic appointment, she worked as a journalist in Greece and Cyprus, and is a member of the European Federation of Journalists and the International Federation of Journalists.
