Αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Οικονομικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας Θεσσαλονίκης (2004) και έλαβε μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα MSc in Economics από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Essex (2005) και Διδακτορικό από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (2011). Εργάστηκε ως Μεταδιδακτορική Συνεργάτιδα στο Κέντρο Οικονομικών Ερευνών (2011-2013), Επισκέπτρια Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Οικονομικών (2013) του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, ενώ το 2014, 2015 και 2017 δίδαξε στο Τμήμα Οικονομικών από την θέση του Ειδικού Επιστήμονα. Από το 2014 είναι Ανώτερη Ερευνήτρια στο Κέντρο Οικονομικών Ερευνών.

My research interests are mainly concentrated in the area of Applied Empirical Public and Welfare economics.

Most of my previous work is based on consumer behaviour theory and demand analysis approaches aiming to extract conclusions for policy-making regarding efficiency, equity and distributional implications of empirical findings.

Selected Publications

She completed her undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki (2004) and received her MSc in Economics from the University of Essex (2005) and her PhD in Economics from the University of Cyprus (2011). Previously, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Officer at the Economics Research Centre (2011-2013) and a Visiting and Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Economics of the University of Cyprus (2013-2015, 2017). She is currently a Senior Officer at the Economics Research Centre of the University of Cyprus.
