Η Άννα Γεωργιάδου είναι πτυχιούχος Αρχαιολογίας και Ιστορίας της Τέχνης (2005) του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ολοκλήρωσε τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές στη Μεσογειακή Αρχαιολογία, στο Πανεπιστήμιο Aix-Marseille, Γαλλία (2006-2007) και τις διδακτορικές σπουδές της στο Πανεπιστήμιο Aix-Marseille και στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, υπό καθεστώς διεθνούς συνεποπτείας (Δεκ. 2013, τίτλος διατριβής: La céramique géométrique de Chypre (XI^e-VIII^e s. av. J.-C.): étude des ateliers régionaux).

Το 2014 εργάστηκε ως μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Χάιφα, Ινστιτούτο Αρχαιολογίας Zinman για το πρόγραμμα Cypro-Phoenician liaisons in the Early Iron Age in light of the Tel Dor Cypro-Geometric Assemblage: chronological, stylistic, regional and cultural aspects (χρηματοδότηση Παν/μιο Χάιφας). Κατά τα έτη 2015-2017 εργάστηκε ως μεταδιδακτορική συνεργάτιδα στο Πανεπιστήμιο Lyon 2, HiSoMA, για το πρόγραμμα Tracing contact networks between Cyprus and the Levant in the Early Iron Age: a case study based on the polities of eastern Cyprus (Kition, Salamis) and southern Levant (11^th -8^th c. BC) (χρηματοδότηση Gerda Henkel Stiftung). Δίδαξε επίσης κατά το χειμερινό εξάμηνο 2016 στο Παν/μιο Κύπρου το προπτυχιακό μάθημα (ΑΡΧ 262) Η κεραμική της Κύπρου στην Εποχή του Σιδήρου (11^ος -4^ος αι. π.Χ.).

Η Α. Γεωργιάδου εργοδοτείται ως ερευνήτρια από το 2018 εως σήμερα στην Ερευνητική Μονάδα Αρχαιολογίας, Παν/μιο Κύπρου. Ήταν η βασική ερευνήτρια στο πρόγραμμα MuseCo, Bringing Life to Old Museum Collections: The Interdisciplinary Study of Pottery from the Cypriot Iron Age Polities of Salamis, Soloi, Lapithos and Chytroi (EXCELLENCE HUBS/1216/0093, 2018-2022) το οποίο συντόνιζε ο Καθ. Γιώργος Παπασάββας (συγχρηματοδότηση από το Ευρωπαϊκό Ταμείο Περιφερειακής Ανάπτυξης και την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία μέσω του Ιδρύματος Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας). Υπήρξε επίσης η συντονίστρια και βασική ερευνήτρια του προγράμματος SCAUT, Saving Cypriot Antiquities Under Threat, σε συνεργασία με τη Δρα Δέσποινα Πηλείδου, πρώην Έφορο Αρχαιοτήτων, Τμήμα Αρχαιοτήτων Κύπρου (χρηματοδότηση FOC-Swiss Federation, 2020-2023).

Από τον Ιανουάριο 2023 εργάζεται ως ερευνήτρια στο έργο ComPAS, Commercial Patterns Across the Sea: The interdisciplinary study of maritime transport containers from Cyprus and the elucidation of Mediterranean connectivity during the Late Bronze Age-Early Iron Age (ERC Starting Grants) το οποίο συντονίζει η Επίκουρη Καθ. Άρτεμις Γεωργίου. Κατά το εαρινό εξάμηνο 2023 δίδαξε στο Παν/μιο Αθηνών σε συνεργασία με τον Αναπλ. Καθ. Κωνσταντίνο Κοπανιά το μεταπτυχιακό σεμινάριο (ΠΡ28), Η μετάβαση από το τέλος της Ύστερης Εποχής του Χαλκού στην Πρώιμη Εποχή του Σιδήρου στην Εγγύς Ανατολή και στην Κύπρο. Η Α. Γεωργιάδου διεξάγει επίσης μεταδιδακτορική έρευνα στο Πανεπίστημιο Λυών 2, HiSOMA (Ιανουάριος 2024). Έχει συμμετάσχει σε διάφορα ερευνητικά και ανασκαφικά προγράμματα στην Κύπρο, Ελλάδα, Γαλλία, Ισραήλ, Αίγυπτο, Τουρκία και Λίβανο.

Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέρονται συμπεριλαμβάνουν: μελέτη του υλικού πολιτισμού, τεχνολογία και παραγωγή κεραμικής στην Κύπρο και στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο στην Εποχή του Σιδήρου, επαφές και εμπορικά δίκτυα στη Μεσόγειο, χρονολόγηση της Εποχής του Σιδήρου.
