Ο Δρ. Κώστας Κωνσταντινίδης είναι Λέκτορας Οπτικοακουστικών Μέσων στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (από 23/08/2021 - ). Κατέχει Μεταπτυχιακό και Διδακτορικό τίτλο από το University of Reading και πτυχιακό τίτλο από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (Αγγλική Φιλολογία, 2002). Εργάστηκε ως μέλος ΔΕΠ στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας (2007-2021). Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου From Film Adaptation to Post-celluloid Adaptation (Continuum, 2010/Bloomsbury, 2012) και συνεπιμελητής του συλλογικού τόμου Cypriot Cinemas: Memory, Conflict and Identity in the Margins of Europe (Bloomsbury, 2014). Είναι μέλος της συντακτικής επιτροπής του διεθνούς επιστημονικού περιοδικού Adaptation (OUP). Είναι μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου και πρώην συν-καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογραφικές Μέρες Κύπρος.
