Ο Ευτύχιος Χριστοφόρου κατέχει δίπλωμα Μηχανολόγου Μηχανικού από το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο, Ελλάδα (1994) και μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στη Διεύθυνση από το Mediterranean Inst. of Management, Κύπρος (1996). Ολοκλήρωσε το διδακτορικό του στη Μηχανολογία στο Univ. of Canterbury, Νέα Ζηλανδία (2000), με πλήρη υποτροφία της Κοινοπολιτείας. Είναι επίκουρος καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Μηχανικών Μηχανολογίας και Κατασκευαστικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Προηγουμένως είχε εργαστεί στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου ως επισκέπτης επίκουρος καθηγητής / ειδικός επιστήμονας στην Πολυτεχνική Σχολή (2007-2018). Κατείχε διάφορες θέσεις στη βιομηχανία με επίκεντρο τον σχεδιασμό μηχατρονικών/ρομποτικών συστημάτων, και τη μοντελοποίηση και έλεγχο διεργασιών. Προηγούμενη του εμπειρία περιλαμβάνει και θέση συνεργάτη καθηγητή (adjunct professor) στο Washington University in St. Louis, Dept. of Electrical and Systems Engineering, Μιζούρι (2004-2007). Κατά την ίδια περίοδο εργάστηκε και σαν μεταπτυχιακός ερευνητής στην ιατρική σχολή του ίδιου πανεπιστημίου. Τα διδακτικά και ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στις περιοχές της ρομποτικής, δυναμικής και του αυτομάτου ελέγχου.
