Anthia Michailides has a Bachelor degree in Pre-School Education from the University of Cyprus and post-graduate studies in Drama and Creative Arts in Education at the University of Exeter. Additionally, she has a PhD in theDepartment of Social Science and Education, of the University of Cyprus with major in pre-school educationh.
She is currently working as  Special Teaching Staff at the University of Cyprus where she teaches the courses of  Kindergarten School Teachers Experience.
She has also worked in a private kindergarten and taught a Theatrical Workshop, Music and Movement to pre-school children.


Her research interests involve drama in education, educator’s role in drama and drama as a means to enhance adults’ and children’s play skills. Moreover, teacher education, play in early childhood education and school experience programs.
