Indicative participations at national and international research projects:
- Member of the Academic Board and Reporter at the research project run by the CECL (Tsatsos Foundation for European Constitutional Law) & the University of London/IALS concerning “Protecting Victims Rights in the EU: the theory and practice of diversity of treatment during the criminal trial” (Agr.No: JUST/2011/JPEN/AG/2919). Prepparation of the Cyprus National Report and part of the Comparative Report (2012-2014).
- Participation (regarding the Greek criminal law legislation against economic crimes) at a Comparative Law Research Project on the Criminal Law Fight against Corruption in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Office; scientific supervisor: A. Kapardis (2014).
- Filling out an extensive EU Questionnaire as to data on Organized Crime in Cyprus (Cyprus National Report). This Report together with the Reports of the other Member States were to be comparatively scrutinized in the framework of the Research Program AMOC ("Assessing Measures Against Organised Crime") on the specific issue: 'Study on paving the way for futrure policy initiatives in the field of fight against organised crime', carried out by a consortium consisting of the RAND Europe in collaboration with Prof. Michael Levi, the University of Trento (Italy) and the 'Center for the study of democracy' of Bulgaria, which has been accepted and is being financed by the EU (DG Home of the Commission). Research aim is the effectiveness of Framework Decision 2008/841/JHA and the respective national legislations in the fight against Organized Crime in EU.
