She is founding member and President of the Union of Copyright Law of Cyprus (EDPI), that is the Cypriot affiliate of International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI).
She is member of the European Copyright Society (ECS).
She is member of the Research Center Cerdi (Centre d’Études et de Recherche en Droit de l’Immatériel) of the University Paris- Saclay.
Shes is member of the Board of Directors of the Research and Innovation Foundation (IDEK).
She is member of the Council of the Cyprus School for Judicial Training .
She is a case law reporter for “Kluwer Law International” to the legal database «Kluwer EU IP Cases» and a contributor to Kluwer Copyright Blog.
She is the academic advisor of the Association of Law students of the University of Cyprus (Group of Legal Education UCY). She is the Founder and Chief academic editor of the student Law Journal, “Nomomachia” of the Association of Law Students of the UCY (published twice a yerar both ih print and electronic form by Sakkoulas Publications, Greece)
Since 2016 she is the Organiser and Academic Supervisor of the international summer school in “EU Commercial Law” (for the students of the e Haim Striks School of Law from Israel).
Tatiana Synodinοu obtained her law degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her postgraduate studies at the University Aix-Marseille III and her doctoral and postdoctoral studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki receiving fellowships from the Greek Scholarship Foundation and by the Committee of Research of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Prior to her appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Cyprus, Tatiana Synodinou worked as scientific collaborator with teaching duties at the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001-2004) and as a full tiime Visiting lecturer the Interdisciplinary postgraduate program of “Informatics and Management” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She also worked as a full-time Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Mass Media of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia, as a short- time Visiting Lecturer at the postgraduate program “Μ2 Recherche Droit de Propriete Intellectuelle” of the University of Nantes and as a scientific collaborator to the Centre of International and European Economic Law.
She has been a member of the Bar Office of Thessaloniki since 2000. She has worked as a short time expert to EU twinning projects and was a member of the e-business Advisory Board for the study “Intellectual Property for ICT producing SMEs” in the context of the the 'Sectoral e-Business Watch' 2007-2008. She has also been a National expert for many projects and EU studies, such as the Public Domain Calculator project, Europeana Connect (www.outofcopyright.eu), Study on sport's organizer rights in the EU, Asser Institute-IVIR 2014, etc.), Researcher/expert for the EU Project: « Center of excellence for the cybercrime », Centre of excellence for the cybercrime (Greece), Study on “Legal regulations of Cyber-attacks”, (2013-2015),National expert for Cyprus and Greece for the project “Assessment of the impact of the European copyright framework on digitally-supported education and training practices” (Public Policy and Management Institute, DG Education and Culture) (2014-2015), National Expert for Cyprus for the EU Observatory on Infringement of IP rights: FAQ consumer copyright, National Expert for Cyprus for the Blocking filtering and take down of Internet Content Comparative Study (Swiss Institute for Comparative Law, for the Council of Europe, 2016), National Reporter for Cyprus and Greece for the project “FutureTDM : Reducing Barriers and Increasing Uptake of Text and Data Mining for Research Environment” (Institute for Information Law (IViR), 2016), , National expert for Cyprus and Greece for the tudy on Framework of best practices to tackle child sexual abuse online, (ICF 2019). She was the Project manager/Principal researcher at the UCY funded Project “Pluralism or Universalism in International Copyright Law” (2017-2019). She was Project manager/Scientific Coordinator for UCY for the EU funded project ‘PROBLEM BASED TRAINING ON THE DATA PROTECTION REFORM PACKAGE IN GR AND CY — TRAIN-GR-CY’ (2018-2019). She was the project manager for the EU funded project Train in your language: multilingual transnational training in EU civil and commercial law- (TraiL), Justice Action Grant-2019.
In 2016 she was the author of the study “EU portability Regulation, In depth analysis of the proposal” for the JURI Committee of the European Parliament.
She was the Chair of the Legal Lead for the translation/implementation of the creative commons 4.0 licenses in Greek (for Cyprus and Greece). (2015-2019)
She was Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Mandola EU project (Monitoring and Detecting On line Hate speech, http://mandola-project.eu/, Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) (Greece), 2015-2018). She was Chair of the Ethics Committee of the EU funded project REIS, Chair of the Ethics Committee of the EU funded project REACT (REactively Defending against Advanced Cybersecurity Threats (ReAct) and Member of the Ethics Committee of the EU funded project MEDEA (Mediterranean practitioners‟ network & capacity building for effective response to emerging security challenges).
She has participated as a speaker to numerous conferences-study days-seminars.
