Enrollment Guidelines<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">A student is considered full-time in a given semester if the total workload is <strong>27\u201330 ECTS<\/strong>, in alignment with University regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students may register:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">for up to <strong>38 ECTS per semester<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">for up to <strong>42 ECTS<\/strong>, but only after the second year and only if repeating two previously attended courses;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">for up to <strong>42 ECTS<\/strong> if enrolled in a <strong>minor program of study<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Approval is required for the following cases:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Requests for a workload of up to 42 ECTS<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <strong>Department Chair<\/strong>, at their discretion, may approve up to 42 ECTS provided that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The number of courses does not exceed <strong>six<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The student can <strong>graduate with these credits<\/strong> in the semester for which they are requested.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Requests for a workload of more than 42 ECTS<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <strong>Vice Rector for Academic Affairs<\/strong> may approve up to <strong>45 ECTS<\/strong> upon a documented written positive recommendation by the Department Chair. Requests exceeding <strong>45 ECTS<\/strong> require Senate approval.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"repeating\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">2. Repeating Courses<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students are not permitted to repeat courses to improve their grades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"prerequisites\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">3. Prerequisite Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students must obtain a minimum grade of 4\/10 to advance in prerequisite course sequences, including Microeconomics (OIK111, OIK211, OIK251\/261), Macroeconomics (OIK121, OIK221, OIK252\/262), Econometrics (MAS061, OIK112, OIK222, OIK253\/263), and Mathematics for Economists (MAS001, ECO113, ECO223).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Registration in restrictive elective courses including the capstone thesis courses (ECO397 and ECO497) requires prior completion of certain prerequisites as specified in the Undergraduate Study Guide.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"timeconflicts\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">4. Time Conflicts<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students may request approval for time-conflicted courses under the following conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The time conflict is 15 minutes or less.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">The overlapping sessions are lectures repeated multiple times during the week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Final approval lies with the course instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"concentration\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">5. Concentration Declaration<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students must declare their chosen concentration by the end of their <strong>3rd semester<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>General Curriculum<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Economic Theory and Econometrics (ETE)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>International and European Economic Studies (IEES)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Failure to declare a concentration by the deadline results in automatic assignment to the General Curriculum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"graduation\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">6. Graduation Requirements<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students must fulfill all core course, elective, and concentration requirements, totaling <strong>240 ECTS<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #e4aa09\">6.1 General Curriculum<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Core Courses (ECO): 89 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Restricted Elective ECO Courses: 66 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Cross-Department Restricted Electives: 24 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Unrestricted Electives: 22 ECTS from at least three faculties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Compulsory Mathematics and Computer Science Courses: 24 ECTS (MAS001, MAS061, CS032, CS037)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">English Language: 15 ECTS (LAN100, LAN101, LAN209)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"color: #e4aa09\">6.2 Economic Theory and Econometrics<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Core Courses (ECO): 95 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Restricted Elective ECO Courses: 60 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">MAS\/ECO 5XX Courses: 14 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Cross-Department Restricted Electives: 12 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Unrestricted Electives: 20 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Compulsory Mathematics and Computer Science Courses: 24 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">English Language: 15 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"color: #e4aa09\">6.3 International and European Economic Studies<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Core Courses (ECO): 89 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Restricted Elective ECO Courses: 42 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Unrestricted Electives: 20 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Social and Political Sciences Courses (SPS): 6 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Law Courses (LAW): 6 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">History and Archaeology Courses (HIS): 5 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Cross-Department Electives: 18 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">English Language: 15 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Other Foreign Language: 15 ECTS (3 levels over 3 semesters)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Compulsory Mathematics and Computer Science Courses: 24 ECTS<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"placement\" style=\"color: #da8d00\">7.
