Successful applicants will join a research team led by Dr. Marios Michaelides (Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Cyprus) to support a range of evaluation studies that examine the efficacy of employment and training interventions implemented in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Economics, Statistics, or relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong English language oral and writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong statistical programming skills (STATA, SAS, R, or related)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Economics or relevant field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Graduate students, individuals interested in pursuing a PhD in Economics in relevant fields(labor economics, public policy), and individuals with an advanced degree in economics or statistics (Masters or PHD) are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in the areas of labor market policy and program evaluation is not necessary but will be considered a plus.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will receive an initial 6-month contract, which can be renewed for up to 48 months. Successful applicants will have the option to be employed full-time or part-time and the flexibility to work remotely (off-campus).
