Ο Κωνσταντίνος Κορφιάτης είναι Καθηγητής Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης στο Τμήμα Επιστημών της Αγωγής του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου και συντονιστής της Ερευνητικής Ομάδας Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Σπούδασε Βιολογία στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και εκπόνησε τη διδακτορική του διατριβή στον Τομέα Οικολογίας του Τμήματος Βιολογίας του ίδιου πανεπιστημίου. Στο παρελθόν εργάστηκε ως ερευνητικός συνεργάτης και δίδαξε στο Τμήμα Βιολογίας και στο Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Από το 2003 ζει στην Κύπρο και διδάσκει στο Τμήμα Επιστημών της Αγωγής. Είναι, από το 2016, μέλος της ακαδημαϊκής επιτροπής της επιστημονικής εταιρείας «Ευρωπαίοι Ερευνητές στη Διδακτική της Βιολογίας - ERIDOB». Είναι επίσης μέλος των επιτροπών αναδόμησης των αναλυτικών προγραμμάτων της Βιολογίας και της Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης/Εκπαίδευσης για την Αειφορία του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού Κύπρου. Υπήρξε μέλος της ομάδας εργασίας για τη συγκρότηση νομοθετικού πλαισίου για την Εκπαίδευση για την Αειφορία, του Υπουργείου Παιδείας ‘Ερευνας και Θρησκευμάτων της Ελλάδας.
