Τα ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα του Εργαστηρίου Μοριακής Φασματοσκοπίας εστιάζονται στην κατανόηση της φωτοχημείας και της φωτοφυσικής διαφόρων χημικών συστημάτων. Συγκεκριμένα, μας ενδιαφέρουν
 
α) η επίδραση της δομής στη φωτοφυσική και τις οπτικές ιδιότητες συζιαγιακών πολυμερών, και 
β) η κατανόηση των αλληλεπίδρασεων μικρών μορίων με βιομόρια, για την ανάπτυξη ιατρικά-χρήσιμων ενώσεων.
