Guest speaker: Dr Natalia Moussienko"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The University of Cyprus brought a new perspective to the discussion of the arts and cultural heritage during wartime, hosting Dr Natalia Moussienko, a Leading Research Fellow at the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and Council member of Europa Nostra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In her presentation, Dr Natalia Moussienko, highlighted the important role of artists. She also presented and commented on a series of artworks inspired by the war between Russia and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">An interesting discussion followed, with interventions by Ambassadors and Embassy representatives. H.E. Mr Ruslan Nimchinsky, Ambassador of Ukraine in Cyprus, emphasised the long-standing cultural ties between Ukraine and Cyprus and referred to the importance of the arts and cultural heritage which in wartime\u00a0 &#8220;act as a weapon and a shield&#8221;. The Ambassador of Poland, H.E.
