Cutting-edge collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus Fire Service
April 8, 2025
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Cyprus and the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia, with the main goal of fostering collaboration between the Municipality’s Services and the Energy & Environmental Building
April 16, 2025The University of Cyprus will be joining the European Master in Renewable Energy offered by EUREC (Association of European Renewable Energy Research Centres) in the next academic year, by offering the PV specialisation semester via the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence.
This is another great development for UCY, as it gives students from various backgrounds, such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and other related fields, the chance to continue their studies on a recognised European Master’s degree in Renewable Energy.
Importantly, by participating in this programme, you will have the opportunity to gain the skills required to become a key member of the future energy workforce, while receiving a title that will be recognised as equivalent by established universities in Europe, such as Oldenburg University in Germany, Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, University of Zaragoza in Spain, and Mines-Paris PSL in France.
