{"id":213,"date":"2020-10-23T05:17:24","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T05:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.ucy-web-server-test.ucy.ac.cy\/chem\/?page_id=213"},"modified":"2026-03-16T09:18:02","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T06:18:02","slug":"awards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/fhs\/student-information\/awards\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Annual awards for Outstanding Community Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>INVITATION TO SUBMIT CANDIDATES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Faculty of Humanities announces\u00a0 two annual &#8220;Outstanding Community Service Awards&#8221;\u00a0 of 250 euros each to be awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate student <strong>of the Faculty of Humanities<\/strong> during the Faculty&#8217;s Award Ceremony, by the end of the Spring Semester. The awards aim to highlight the activities of the Faculty&#8217;s students and are considered an\u00a0 incentive for\u00a0 \u00a0the development of actions related to letters and\u00a0 community service .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Eligible are final students who combine a general average of 7.0 and above (grade up to the previous semester of studies) and, at the discretion of the Department first and then of the Faculty Council, a worthy contribution to letters and culture and\/or to social issues with a humanitarian character.
