With 26 symbolic awards, the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Cyprus acknowledged the outstanding academic performance of students who distinguished themselves during the academic year 2021-2022
\nIn a moving atmosphere, academics, sponsors, and graduates, families and friends, attended the Excellence Award Ceremony held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Social Activities Center of the University of Cyprus.
\nIn his greeting, the Rector of the University of Cyprus, Professor Tassos Christofides praised the recognition of excellence as a factor in promoting education for the acquisition of knowledge.
\nThe Dean of the School, Associate Professor Michalis N. Michael, referred to the timeless importance that the Humanities have, today more than ever, in determining the orientation of society, shaping people who can understand our world, to ask new and more complex questions , and to think of the collective good as a supreme value of spiritual life.
