the University of Cyprus, the open and interdisciplinary M\u00e9thodal OpenLab, the University of Sorbonne and the Center for Linguistic Studies \u2013 Corpus, Discours et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s of the University of Lyon co-organized with great success an international conference, entitled &#8220;Adverbes et adverbiaux : questions d&#8217;ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 s\u00e9mantique et fonctionnelle \u00bb (Adverbs and Adverbials: Issues in semantic and functional ambiguity), which took place on 18 and 19 May 2023.<br \/>\nThe conference was held at the University of Cyprus, with simultaneous live and remote participation.<br \/>\nThe main topic was the problems posed by the semantic and functional ambiguity of adverbial elements, allowing the participants to discuss, exchange opinions and concerns around the specific topic.<br \/>\nThe participants came from many universities abroad, specifically from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Canada, Brazil, etc.<\/p>\n<p><img
