Benefactors of University Of Cyprus

The following donations represent gestures of great generosity, by which the benefactors express their support towards for work carried  by the Univeristy of Cyprus.
 
 
A.G. Leventis Foundation Donation - 2004

The A.G. Leventis Foundation, in response to the campaign 'Univeristy of Cyprus 2010: The Road to Excellence', donated to the Univeristy of Cyprus the amount of 6.5 million euros.

The specific donation was used for the construction of the Building 'The Anastasios G. Leventis Senate House of the University of Cyprus'.

 

   

A.G. Leventis Foundation Donation - 2016

Following it's previous donation, the A.G. Leventis Foundation, responded to the campaign 'Building the City of Knowledge', for which donated teh generous amount of 6 million euros. 

The specific donation was used for the construction of the Building 'The A.G. Leventis Foundation - Department of Biological Sciences'.

 

 

Nikos and Elpida Shacola Foundation Donation

nks logo The Foundation '' Nikos and Elpida Shacola '', wanting to contribute directly and actively in the development of education as well as in the health sector, proceeded to the generous donation of 13.500.000 million euros.

With this donation will be erected the building which will house the School of Medicine of the University of Cyprus, which will be called 'School of Medicine and Health Sciences Building Nicos. Siakolas'.

Dr. Artemis Hadjipanayis Donation
The honourable Dr. Artemis Hadjipanayis donated to the University of Cyprus the amount of 3 million euros for the construction of the building Teaching of Medical and Biological Sciences.

"I was fortunate enough to gain financial independence. I decided to share some amount of my financial fortune with something in Cyprus, the University".
