Let&#8217;s welcome our newest post-doctorate researcher, Xavier Buxton, who joined our project on the 2nd of October, aiming at investigating the Dialogical Thinking and Storytelling in Drama and Choral Lyric. Xavier is a distinguished scholar of archaic and classical Greek literature, with a research focus on Athenian drama, ancient emotions, and early conceptions of the mind. His academic journey began as an English Literature student at Cambridge, where he received accolades for his dissertation on Shelley&#8217;s engagement with Sappho&#8217;s lyric voice. Xavier&#8217;s passion for Classics led him to pursue graduate studies at Oxford, where he recently completed his doctoral dissertation on the theme of &#8216;good fear&#8217; in Aeschylean tragedy within an interdisciplinary framework.
