Chrysanthou, will take part in the workshop <em>Collective Characters in Greek Literature<\/em>, held at Uppsala University, Sweden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Poster_collective-hi.pdf\">event<\/a>, organised within the <em>Retracing Connections<\/em> network, will bring together Zuzana Dzurillov\u00e1 (Charles University, Prague), Milan Vuka\u0161inovi\u0107 (Uppsala University), and Chrysanthos Chrysanthou (University of Cyprus) to explore representations of collective agency and group minds in ancient Greek narrative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr Chrysanthou\u2019s paper, titled <em>\u201cSpeaking Groups in Greek Oratory,\u201d<\/em> examines the rhetorical and cognitive dynamics of collective speech in classical oratory and its relation to ancient conceptions of shared thought and voice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through such international collaborations, the project continues to expand the reach of its research on collective thought and representation in Greek narrative traditions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2043 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Upssala-216x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"246\" height=\"342\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Upssala-216x300.jpg 216w, https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Upssala-54x75.jpg 54w, https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Upssala-480x667.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.ucy.ac.cy\/groupminds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/274\/2025\/10\/Upssala.jpg 644w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 246px, 246px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 21 October 2025, our Principal Investigator, Dr Chrysanthos S.
