Based on the Cyprus Civil Registry and Migration Department’s regulations, EU students are obliged to have health insurance covering, medical care, inpatient and outpatient, and body transport costs or Certificate of Registration with the GHS and body transport costs or European Hospitalisation Card. Each student has the right to decide the insurance company with which he/she will be enrolled.

Non-EU students, after their arrival in Cyprus, are obliged to have a certificate of health insurance for medical care that covers inpatient and outpatient care and transportation of corpse.
