- MOBILITY OF STUDENTS FOR STUDIES AND PLACEMENTS
- MOBILITY OF STAFF FOR TEACHING AND TRAINING
Erasmus+ is the European Programme for Education Training, Youth and Sports.
The Erasmus+ programme supports activities in all fields of Lifelong Learning (School Education, Tertiary Education, Vocational Education and Training, Adult Education) as well as Youth and Sport activities. It has an enhanced focus on student and educator mobility, reform of existing overlapping structures and greater cooperation in the field of education with non-EU countries. It is intended to all European students, trainees, teachers, trainers and youth.
The Erasmus+ programme, has the following Key Actions:
- a) Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
- b) Key Action 2: Co-operation for Innovation and good practices
- c) Key Action 3: Supports for Policy Reform
Under Key Action 1 Mobility of Students for Studies students can study for 2-12 months of the same academic year in another European university and transfer the credits earned and accumulated abroad towards their progamme of studies.
Under Key Action 1 Mobility of Students for Traineeships students can work for 2-12 months of the same academic year in an organization or company in Europe to acquire practical experience in their field of study.
Under Key Action 1 Mobility of Staff for Teaching academic staff can may teach between 2 days and 2 months of the same academic year in another European University with which an Erasmus agreement exists in their subject area for minimum 8 teaching hours.
Under Key Action 1 Mobility of Staff for Training academic or administrative staff may be trained between 2 days and 2 months of the same academic year in another European University or organization in their subject area.
