Mobility of teaching staff for Teaching or for Combined Teaching and Further Education/Training
In the framework of this Action, a mobility activity of academic staff of the University of Cyprus to a university abroad with which his/her department has an Erasmus+ agreement is financed for the purpose of teaching or combined teaching and training/training.
Mobility of invited staff from foreign companies for teaching
In the context of this mobility, invited staff from enterprises abroad are also allowed to teach students at the University of Cyprus.
DURATION OF MOBILITY
The eligible travel period for staff traveling for teaching or teaching and training activities is from 2-5 consecutive working days and 8 teaching hours, while for staff invited by businesses for the purpose of teaching, the minimum eligible period is 1 day.
For a combined teaching and training period, the minimum required teaching hours are 4 in combination with another 4 training hours.
Staff traveling for teaching or teaching and training receive a grant amount as a contribution to travel and subsistence costs.
The staff of Higher Education Institutions who are selected to move for teaching or for training sign a grant agreement before moving abroad.

Staff must have agreed and signed the Staff Mobility for teaching mobility agreement or the Staff Mobility for teaching and training mobility agreement.
The deadline for submitting applications for Erasmus+ Academic Exchanges (Staff Mobility for Teaching and Staff Mobility for Teaching and Training) is set for November 17, 2024, for exchanges that will be completed by July 31, 2025.
All Academic Staff of the University of Cyprus have the right to participate.
Maximum travel duration for funding is 5 working days of teaching (8 teaching hours) or teaching and training (4 teaching hours and 4 training hours) plus 1 day before and one day after the trip, total 7.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION
The interested Academics should first obtain written approval from the host university and then complete their application in the UCY Mobility Portal, located at the following link, by logging in with the username and password of the UCY and then selecting the create a new request.
The approval (either by e-mail or letter) from the host university for the lectures to be given or the lectures to be given and the training program to be followed should be attached to the application in pdf format.
The approval should show all the details of the lectures that will be held at the host university such as dates and times of the lectures, level of study of the students that will be taught and the titles of the lectures. The 8 teaching hours in the case of exchange for teaching and the 4 hours of lectures and 4 hours of training in the case of combined mobility for teaching and training should be clearly visible.
The application is approved for submission to the system by the President of each department.
Approval to participate in mobility is given by the Committee on International Relations.

APPROVAL OF APPLICATIONS
The person responsible for examining applications is the International Relations Committee. In the event that the dates of the visit are earlier than the application deadline and there is a serious reason, the application may be examined by the Vice-Chancellor for International Relations and a relevant decision taken by the members of the International Relations Committee, in accordance with the selection criteria.

FUNDING
