Post boxes in Nicosia and Longford, made by the same iron founders.

The UCY Irish Studies Collective provides a focal point in the Eastern Mediterranean for research into all aspects of Irish culture. As part of the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies, we belong to a network of more than 50 universities connecting those who work in Irish studies.

Based in Nicosia, at the Department of English Studies, University of Cyprus, the UCY Irish Studies Collective hosts artistic performances, talks and international collaborations incorporating a broad variety of perspectives. Particular research strengths include the work of Samuel Beckett, cultural memory in performance and Irish literatures of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

Tá fáilte roimh chách ag an gcomharghrúpa!
