DESCRIPTION
AppsAnywhere is a software platform/library through which members of the university community have access to software and applications they will need during the course of their academic studies.
The platform enables use of applications via streaming, i.e. without the need to install the applications on the user's endpoint. Access to AppsAnywhere platform is available via any web browser, at myapps.ucy.ac.cy

The IT Infrastructure Service provides audiovisual coverage services only at official events organized by the Rectorate. Also, UCY personnel can borrow equipment (videocamera, tripod) for events recording.
Members of the student UCY Photography Club provide audiovisual coverage services to Departments and Entities at low cost. You can find more information here.
DESCRIPTION
Open Access Labs are located at the Learning Resource Centre – Library “Stelios Ioannou”, at Room B141 - FPAS01 Building (Mathematics and Statistics Wing) and at University Old Campus at Kallipoleos street. Open Access Labs are equipped with all main applications and sofware used widely by the university community. Open Access Labs have Windows, Linux and MacOS operating software.

INSTRUCTIONS
Open Access Labs operate on a schedule that follows the academic seasons (Semesters, Exams Period, Public Holidays). The operating schedule is available at the main webpage of IT Infrastructure Service. Available workstations on each lab are also presented in the main webpage.

INSTRUCTIONS
Comprehensive Setup Guide
- Open microsoft365.com in an Ιncognito / inPrivate window in your browser
- Sign in using your account username ([email protected]) and your password
- You will be presented with a More Information Required Click Next
- If you have the Microsoft Authenticator app already installed on your phone, click Next, otherwise proceed to installing the app on your phone and then click Next
- A QR code appears on your screen
- Open Authenticator app on your phone and select Add Account (plus symbol + top right corner) > Work or School > Scan QR code
- Scan QR code
- Click Next
- Enter the 2-digit number that appears on your screen in the prompt that has arrived on your Click Next
- Click Done to complete the setup

Το Panopto είναι μια εκπαιδευτική βιντεοπλατφόρμα που επιτρέπει τη δημιουργία, διαχείριση και διαμοιρασμό εκπαιδευτικού οπτικοακουστικού υλικού με σύγχρονο και ασύγχρονο τρόπο. Με χρήση του προσωπικού σας υπολογιστή μπορείτε να οπτικογραφήσετε διαλέξεις με εικόνα, ήχο και προβολή παρουσιάσεων και να τις αναρτήσετε σε μαθήματα που διατηρείτε στο σύστημα Blackboard για θέαση από τους φοιτητές.
ΑΠΟΔΕΚΤΕΣ
Το Panopto απευθύνεται κυρίως στο εκπαιδευτικό προσωπικό του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου για τη δημιουργία και διαμοιρασμό εκπαιδευτικού οπτικοακουστικού υλικού και σε όλους τους εγγεγραμμένους φοιτητές. Επίσης σε άλλο προσωπικό (ερευνητικό, διοικητικό κ.ά.) που επιθυμεί να αξιοποιήσει τις δυνατότητες του εργαλείου. Το περιεχόμενο της βιντεοπλατφόρμας δύναται να είναι διαθέσιμο και σε χρήστες εκτός Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου κατ’ επιλογή.
ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ
Για χρήση του Panopto συνδεθείτε στον λογαριασμό που διατηρείτε στο σύστημα Blackboard του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου και ακολουθήστε τις οδηγίες που περιλαμβάνονται στους οδηγούς, οι οποίοι βρίσκονται αναρτημένοι στα Εγχειρίδια Χρήσης στη διαδικτυακή πύλη του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου στην κατηγορία Υποστήριξη Συστημάτων Πληροφορικής. Για οπτικογράφηση διάλεξης με εικόνα και ήχο μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιείτε την κάμερα και το μικρόφωνο που βρίσκονται ενσωματωμένα στον υπολογιστή σας ή άλλες εξωτερικές πηγές. Έχετε επίσης τη δυνατότητα να συνδεθείτε και απευθείας στη βιντεοπλατφόρμα (εκτός του συστήματος Blackboard) εδώ με τον λογαριασμό ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου σας, ωστόσο για την εκχώρηση των δικαιωμάτων χρήστη βάσει του ρόλου που κατέχετε (instructor, student κ.λπ.) και δυνατότητα χρήσης των σχετικών λειτουργιών, απαιτείται πρόσβαση μέσω Blackboard τουλάχιστον μία φορά.

Η υποβολή
αιτήματος παραχώρησης φορητού υπολογιστή γίνεται με αίτημα προς το Service Desk (servicedesk@ucy.ac.cy), το οποίο αναφέρει τον πανεπιστημιακό λογαριασμό
του αιτητή και συνοδεύεται από τις σχετικές εγκρίσεις
όπου αυτό εφαρμόζει.
DESCRIPTION
University of Cyprus offers a complete printing solution. Users can access any of the 176 printing machines all over the University Facilities and print, scan or photocopy their documents via using their University Card. Printouts can be collected on any printing machine up to four hours after the printing command has been sent.

Student accounts are provided with the amount of ten euros in printing credits, at the beginning of Fall and Spring Semester. In case students wish to increase their printing credits, they may do so via JCC service.

UCY VPN allows for a secure remote connection to UCY network, in order to facilitate the use of UCY services, apps and software from off-site over the Internet.
