The Cyprus University Press aims to support and promote authorship, providing a platform for intellectual output in Cyprus as well as in the broader sphere of Hellenism and internationally. It advances and disseminates science, culture and social thought through the production and distribution of books.

The Cyprus University Press holds primary responsibility for promoting and distributing the University of Cyprus’s publications. The Editorial Committee of the Cyprus University Press is responsible for the scientific evaluation of publication proposals. The Cyprus University Press selects its books based on their scholarly merit, encompassing a wide array of subjects such as literary studies, history, psychology, philosophy and more. It publishes and distributes books in the following areas: academic research and teaching, Greek Literature, Cyprological publications, manuals and, more generally, works that advance the Cyprus University ‘s goal of “social contribution”, while promoting culture and tradition. Additionally, the University of Cyprus Press publishes books of broader interest on significant current issues, it reprints its own titles, as well as provides translations across all the aforementioned fields.
